JAIRE ALEXANDER
Jaire Alexander (born February 9, 1997) is an American football cornerback for the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Louisville, and was drafted by the Packers in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft.
As a junior, he started all 13 games, recording 42 tackles and five interceptions. In his senior year, he only played six games before suffering a season-ending injury. He finished with 12 tackles and one interception.
College career
Alexander attended University of Louisville, where he played on the Louisville Cardinals football team from 2015 to 2017. As a true freshman at Louisville in 2015, Alexander appeared in 12 games with four starts, recording 38 tackles and three interceptions. As a sophomore in 2016, he started all 13 games, recording 42 tackles and five interceptions. In his junior year in 2017, he only played six games before suffering a season-ending injury. He finished with 12 tackles and one interception.
