CRAIG KIMBREL

Craig Michael Kimbrel is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Los Angeles Dodgers of Major League Baseball. He previously played for the Atlanta Braves, San Diego Padres and Boston Red Sox. A three-time All-Star, he was the 2011 NL Rookie of the Year, and is a seven-time MLB saves leader. Kimbrel led the NL in saves for three consecutive seasons from 2011 through 2013, and led the AL in 2018. He has also led MLB in games finished four times.

Kimbrel played college baseball at Wallace State Community College and the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss). The Atlanta Braves selected him in the third round of the 2008 MLB draft, and he made his MLB debut with them in 2010. After three full seasons with Atlanta, he was traded to San Diego prior to 2015. Following that season, he signed with Boston.
